[Three guesses why she isn't talking to him.]

[A SISTER. This is where a different girlfriend would've prepared better, you know. Looked him up on every file.]

There was no mention of a Jazmine Becket.

[It's not all her fault, she's not in his file with the PPDC. Still need those guesses, Mako?]

Yeah, I know. We haven't really talked since our mom's funeral.

You have family. You have a sister, and not even after we saved the world - you didn't think to check up on her?

I-- [he cuts himself off because even though it's Mako, he doesn't want to say that he's more or less afraid of his little sister, less in that she could kick his ass and more that she might not want anything to do with him and he'd totally deserve it.]

[Or he could say that, and Mako could explain why that's more of a reason to do it. She's frowning, that's the first reason to do it, Raleigh.]

What if she doesn't want to talk to me? [There, fine he said it.] I kind of ignored her after Yancy died.

[dorothied]

But what if she does? [Simple as that. Not judging, but not overly gentle - she's in the stubborn area now, and she knows he's stronger now than to ignore a sister because of what he thinks she might say.] You were grieving. Maybe so did she, but - you've waited enough, Raleigh. Don't let this be your new Wall.

[raleighs]

[Yeah, he's not so sure about that. Raleigh was a good little brother but being an older one? He kind of fucked that up. Was pretty good at threatening boys who came sniffing around her skirt but that was really it. Because he cared more about Yancy and Gipsy and all of that than he cared about her.]

... I'll try calling her tomorrow.

[dorothied]

[She just nods, the smile that says I'm proud of you agreeing with that plan blossoming slowly, while she runs her fingers very affectionately through his hair.]

[Raleigh smiles at her softly, and leans in to kiss her. He knows what she means but he's still going to tease her anyway.]

I don't know. You could go to the store or something. Take a bath. Be with your blueprints.

[dorothied]

Be with my blueprints? [Rolling her eyes, knowing when she's being teased and - liking it. Liking that he teases her.]

I can do that any time.

[raleighs]

You're with them a lot. I'm starting to get jealous.

[dorothied]

It's because I'm in love with them.

[raleighs]

I knew it. [Shaking his head at her, cheating on him. That's horrible of you, Mako Mori.] Don't you love me at all?

I could build you what's on those blueprints, doesn't that count for anything?
