[It's not the first time that they've had to change schools. Dad moves around a lot because of work and they follow him wherever that is. Raleigh spent his eighth birthday in Budapest, another one in Peru, another in London and now it's looking like he's going to spend his seventeenthh in Japan and that's okay. He's not that attached to Alaska, he likes it there a lot but he likes seeing the world too and he likes learning new languages.
He likes even more the looks on people's faces when they realize he knows exactly what shit they're saying about him and his brother right before he punches them for it.
So yeah, he had been in a little bit of a fight, and there's probably a bruise growing along his cheek right now but. It's whatever. Pretty sure she doesn't know who he is besides one of the new white kids, but they have several classes together and he's been staring at her for half of them and she's really smart and pretty and she hasn't been rude to them or giggly and he likes that.]
