Raleigh grabs her wrist in a lightning-swift move, and you know, she's not going to stop pushing, because Mako's found that chink in his armour and she's tenacious as a pitbull when pushed to it. She wants to know how to reach him, how to pull him out of this pit of despair he'd resigned himself to. He'd suffered a tragedy no one else endured, but this is war, and Mako can't accept that he'd voluntarily drop out -- it's just not done that way. ]


I watched you both. Every video, every mission. I studied you, even the one in Alaska. [ Yes, she knew about that one, she knew that the two of you wanted to save the world together, that a boat full of fishermen had been saved because of them. ]
